Born from Ink & Ambition
Obsidian Ink Studio was founded by Kai Nakamura and Marcus Cole in a converted warehouse on Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn. What started as a two-chair operation fueled by passion has grown into one of New York's most respected tattoo destinations.
We believe every tattoo should be a masterpiece - not a commodity. That philosophy drives every decision, from the artists we bring on to the inks we use. No flash-only shops, no rush jobs, no compromises.
